Acer unveils 7-inch Android tablet
Acer has finally decided to enter the tablet realm. Less than a few months ago the company had said that it had no plans to build tablets. But now that Apple has proved that tablets can be money-minting machines, Acer is re-thinking its strategies.
At a presentation over in UAE, Acer CEO unveiled the company’s 7-inch Android tablet. He didn’t disclose any of the specs, but said that the tablet would be out in the fourth quarter of this year. The Acer tablet apparently has an integrated 3G module. It also looks like the bottom of the device is occupied by a QWERTY keyboard. That’s all we know at the moment. We will keep you updated as more details emerge.
