Fujitsu has updated its line of LifeBook mobile computers. Most of the new models feature the second generation Intel Core ‘Sandy Bridge’ processors.

The new additions to the LifeBook family of notebooks include the 15.6 inch LifeBook AH572 3D-capable laptop, the 12 inch P771 ultraportable, the 13.3 inch LifeBook T901, the 10.1 inch T580 tablet PC, and the 17.3 inch LifeBook NH751 desktop replacement.

Now for the specs:

LifeBook AH572 Notebook
The LifeBook AH572 is 3D-capable. It is also one of the first computers that let users record in 3D with their webcam. The LifeBook AH572 has an Intel Core i5-2410 processor. It has a 15.6 inch widescreen display and comes complete with 3D glasses. The laptop also supports Intel’s Wireless Display (WiDi) technology that allows users to wirelessly stream video from the laptop to an HDTV.

The LifeBook AH572 starts at $999. It is expected to start shipping in February.

LifeBook P771 Notebook
The LifeBook P771 has a 12 inch WXGA display. It is powered by the second generation Intel Core i7 processor. Other specifications include a modular dual-layer DVD-RW, anti-theft lock slot and fingerprint sensor. The optical drive can be replaced with a 2nd battery. The LifeBook P771 starts at $1,529. It will be available in February.

LifeBook T901 Convertible Tablet PC

The LifeBook T901 is a convertible tablet style notebook. It is available with Intel’s 2nd generation Core series processors and has a 13.3 inch touchscreen display. The convertible supports the NVIDIA Optimus technology and has a modular bay that supports hot-swapping of 2nd battery or 2nd hard drive.
The LifeBook T901 has a starting price of $1,899. It will be available this spring.

LifeBook T580 Convertible Tablet PC:
The LifeBook T580 convertible tablet style netbook has a 10.1 inch multi-touch screen with pen input. It has an Intel Core i5 processor and weighs only 3 pounds. The T580 is now available for purchase through the Fujitsu website (www.shopfujitsu.com) and select retailers. Prices start at $1,149.

LifeBook NH751 Notebook
The LifeBook NH751 is a desktop replacement laptop. It has an Intel Core i7-2630QM quad core processor and a 17.3 inch LCD display. Other specifications include NVIDIA Optimus technology, built-in Blu-ray drive and integrated speakers. The NH751 supports the Intel WiDi display. It will be availble in February for a starting price of $1,199.

The Fujitsu Lifebook T580 convertible tablet style netbook has hit the US. The T580 has a 10.1 inch display. It is not cheap. In fact, it costs almost double the price of a regular convertible and for good reason.
The system comes with Core i3 / i5 processor options. It also has a capacitive touchscreen display with an N-trig digitizer which supports both pen and finger input.

The $1,149 ‘Express Buy’ model has an Intel Core i3-380UM processor, 2GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive storage and a 5800mAh six cell battery. If you are willing to shell out an extra $250, you can get the Core i5-560UM processor.

Fujitsu had earlier described the convertible tablet as ‘slate beating’.That description has been dropped probably because Fujitsu has realized that a 10 incher costing as much as a mainstream laptop isn’t going to break many sales records.

The Fujitsu Lifebook T580 doesn’t look all that different from a typical convertible tablet style netbook, but it is ridiculously pricey.

I don’t know if LifeBook T580 is the costliest mini-laptop from Fujitsu. Chances are it is. Netbook News.de reports that the Fujitsu LifeBook T580 will sell for up to 1599 Euros. That is about $2200 US.

So what do you get for your money? Well, the LifeBook T580 has a 10 inch display that can be folded down over the keyboard for use in the tablet mode. The netbook will be available in many configurations. The product listing for a model available at a German retailer has a 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It also has an active digitizer for pen input. This particular model is powered by an Intel Core i5-560UM processor with 4GB of RAM and a 500GB, 7200 rpm hard drive. It runs Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. The laptop also has WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G and a 6-cell, 5800mAh battery.

The Fujitsu LifeBook T580 will reportedly go on sale in Germany by the end of this month. No word on pricing or availability in the US.

The LifeBook T580 has a 10.1 inch display that supports multitouch. While most of the specifications are reasonably impressive, there are a few downers too, the biggest among them being the resistive touchpanel.

The LifeBook T580 weighs 3 pounds. It will reportedly get around 8 hours of battery life. No word on pricing at the moment, but the netvertible is expected to hit the streets in November.

Fujitsu has revealed its external-graphics notebook. Called Fujitsu LifeBook AH530 GFX, the notebook is available with your choice of a Core i3, i5 or i7 processors. Other specifications include Blu ray or DVD,up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 500GB HDD. It does not have discrete graphics. Instead you are the given the option of using the external ATI Mobility Radeon HD550v graphics with 1GB of video memory.

The Lifebook AH530 GFX also has 3 USB 2.0 ports, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, an HDMI, VGA, gigabit ethernet. The battery life is rated at 3 hours.

The Lifebook AH530 GFX is equipped with a 15.6 inch laptop. It weighs 2.5 kg. No word on pricing at the moment, but the notebook is expected to start shipping by the end of this month.
