Gigabyte has quietly uploaded the product page for yet another dual core Atom netbook. The Gigabyte M1005 has more or less the same specifications as the Gigabyte Q2005 introduced a few days ago. In terms of looks, the M1005 isn’t all that different from the Gigabyte M1022 and has the same docking kit and tiny trackpad. But under the hood, it has a dual core Atom N550 processor.

The laptop has a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Other specifications include up to 2GB of RAM, integrated graphics, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS (optional), a 0.3 megapixel webcam and 4 cell battery. The hard drive is available in 250 / 320 / 500GB capacities. The Gigabyte M1005 runs Windows 7 Starter or Home Premium. No word on pricing or availability.

Gigabyte has launched a new netbook. The Gigabyte Q2005 has a dual core 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 processor and a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Other specifications are pretty regular. The laptop has 1GB of DDR3 RAM (up to 2GB supported), a 250GB hard drive (up to 500GB supported), WiFi 802.11b/g/n, optional Bluetooth 3.0, Ethernet, VGA and a 0.3 megapixel camera. Both 3-cell and 6-cell battery options are available.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about the Q2005 is its 8-in-1 flash card reader. Netbooks usually only have SD card readers, or maybe SD / MMC / MS readers.

No word on pricing, but the Q2005 should be cheaper than the Gigabyte T1005 convertible which has an HD touchscreen display. The T1005 starts at $579, so the Q2005 should cost a few bucks less.

The Gigabyte T1125 convertible tablet style netbook will start shipping in the US before the end of this year. It is not cheap. The netbook will be available in two configurations. The model with a Core i3 processor will run $1099. The Core i5 version will have suggested retail price of $1199.

The Gigabyte T1125 has an 11.6 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Other specifications include a NVIDIA GeForce 310M graphics with NVIDIA Optimus graphics switching capabilities, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and an optional 3.5G modem. Other specifications include a USB 3.0 port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port, mic and headphone jacks, VGA and HDMI output and a card reader.The computer also has a 6 cell, 7800 mAh battery.

The Gigabyte T1125 is expected to be available in early December. It also has an optional docking station which you can use to add a DVD drive and plug in an external display.

The Gigabyte T1005M is a 10.1 inch convertible tablet style computer that doesn’t look all that different from a typical netbook. Under the hood it has a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor and integrated graphics. The tablet also has a capacitive multitouch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Other specificatons include USB 3.0, eSATA ports and a 6-cell battery rated at 7650mAh.

Unlike a standalone tablet like the Apple iPad, a convertible tablet PC offers the full functionality of a laptop. It has a physical keyboard and a touchscreen display that can be folded down over the keyboard.

The Gigabyte T1005M is now available from Amazon for $599. Along with the laptop, you also get a nice looking case.

The T1005M is different from earlier Gigabyte convertible laptops in that it has a capactive display and a dual core processor. The previous models had resistive displays and single core processors.

The new laptop also has a chiclet-style keyboard, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port and improved build quality.

The Gigabyte T1005M hasn’t started shipping yet, but the folks at Netbook News got to check out one unit in person. They are quite impressed with most aspects of the laptop, although they didn’t like the touchpad which is quite small and has its buttons on the left and right side of it. Another shortcoming perhaps is the large 6-cell, 7650mAh battery which looks unweildy in the back.

Detailed reviews of the T1005M are not yet available, but the laptop is now up for pre-order at Amazon for $599.99.
