Dell offers BIOS update and new power adapters to Studio XPS 1645 owners

Dell has announced that a new BIOS for the Dell Studio XPS 1645 notebook is now available for download. The machine had problems performing CPU intensive tasks. Sharp DoCoMo LYNX SH-10B Android MID to hit Japan this month

Sharp has announced an Android-powered MID called LYNX SH-10B in partnership with NTT DoCoMo. The DoCoMo LYNX SH-10B is equipped with a 5-inch toushcreen and a full QWERTY keyboard. It sports two cameras – a 5.3 megapixel camera on the outside and the 4.3 megapixel camera on the inside. The device runs Android.

Intel Core i7 970 six core processor shows up in UK for $921

The Intel Core i7 970, which is the first non-Extreme six-core processor, has started showing up in online retail stores. UK retailer Digital Fusion, for instance, is listing the 3.2GHz processor for the local equivalent of $921.
The Core i7 970 processor is based on the 32nm Gulftown architecture which reportedly has 12MB of cache.
