"fujitsu lifebook t580"Fujitsu has announced a new convertible tablet style netbook. The Fujitsu LifeBook T580 is available with up to a Core i5 processor, optional 3G and GPS and plenty of security measures. Fujitsu calls its T580 ‘slate-beating’. That claim perhaps comes from the fact that the T580 is a convertible netbook which can be used like a tablet by folding the display down over the keyboard.

The LifeBook T580 has a 10.1 inch display that supports multitouch. While most of the specifications are reasonably impressive, there are a few downers too, the biggest among them being the resistive touchpanel.

The LifeBook T580 weighs 3 pounds. It will reportedly get around 8 hours of battery life. No word on pricing at the moment, but the netvertible is expected to hit the streets in November.
