Fujitsu has announced a netbook with Intel’s Pine Trail chipset. Called LifeBook MH380, the new netbook will have a 10.1 inch LCD display with 1366 x 768 pixels. It will be powered by an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor. Other features include Atheros WiFi b/g/n and Realtek Ethernet. More details are not available at the moment but Fujitsu has filed documents with FCC and is expected to unveil the laptop at CES in January.

The Pine Trail chips have memory, graphics and processor functions integrated into a single chipset. This arrangement will make the system less complex and improve battery life. These chipsets, however, are unlikely to improve the performance of your system.
