gateway ec14dThe EC14D is an ultraportable notebook with an 11.6 inch display. It is powered by a CULV processor. But it is not the screen size or CPU that makes this machine special. Unlike most other 11.6 inch laptops, the EC14D has an 8x SuperMulti DVD burner inside its chassis. Needless to say the notebook is heavier and thicker than most ultraportables, but it is still portable.

The Gateway EC14D is powered by a 1.3GHz Intel Atom Pentium SU4100 processor with GMA 4500MHD graphics. The 11.6 inch display features 1366 x 768 pixels. Up to 4GB of RAM and 320GB of storage are available. The notebook runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Supported connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.
