Gigabyte Launches M1000 and Q1000c Netbooks
In addition to the recently unveiled T1000, Gigabyte showed off two other netbooks at CeBIT this week. The laptops are called Q1000C and M1000 and sport Intel Atom Pine Trail processors.
Gigabyte M1000
The Gigabyte M1000 seems to be an updated version of the Gigabyte BookTop M1022. It has a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 processor while the M1022 has a 1.66Ghz Atom N270 processor. Other features include a 10 inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels, chiclet style keyboard and an ExpressCard slot. The M1000 ships with a 6-cell battery. And like its predecessor it is also equipped with a docking port for connecting to a docking station.
Gigabyte Q1000C
The Gigabyte Q1000C is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor. It features a 10.1 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels. Other specifications include 1GB of RAM, a 160GB/250GB hard drive for storage and Bluetooth 2.1. There are 3 USB ports, Ethernet, VGA and an optional HSDPA module. And unlike other Gigabyte laptops, this model apparently doesn’t have an ExpressCard slot.
No word on pricing or availability as yet.
