Gigabyte M1405 Spotted at Taipei Game Show
Gigabyte showed off its latest docking laptop – the M1405 – at Taipei Game Show. The notebook sports a 14 inch LED backlit TFT display with 1366 x 768 pixels. It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor. Other specifications include up to 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics and a disk drive which can be replaced with a 3-cell battery. The M1405 runs Windows 7.
What is unique about this machine is that it comes with a docking station to which you can attach an external GeForce GT220 GPU with 1GB of discrete memory. The notebook ships with a 6-cell battery.
