Chinese PC maker Hanvon has officially launched its TouchPad B10. The tablet has a 10.1 inch capacitive multitouch display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Celeron M ULV743 processor and Intel GMA 4500 integrated graphics. Other specifications include 2GB of memory, a 250GB or 320GB hard disk, HDMI-out, and WiFi. The tablet will get close to 3.5 hours of battery life. It will go for around €500. "hanvon touchpad"

As for the launch ceremony, well, it was full of drama. Before unveiling the slate PC before the Chinese PC, the Hanvon CEO smashed an ice sculpture that resembles an Apple. He accomplished that feat with little effort. Now let’s wait and watch what happens when the TouchPad B10 takes on the Apple iPad. After all, smashing an apple is a whole lot easier than building a device that sells.
