Chinese PC maker Hasee already has some netbooks and ultraportables to its credit. Now the company is foraying into the thin and light segment with Intel’s CULV (Consumer Ultra Low Voltage) processors. Hasee has already built two laptops dubbed UV20-S17 and UV20-S23. The notebooks cost under $400.
Both models are powered by Intel CULV processors and integrated Intel GMA X4500 MHD graphics. The cheaper model – the UV20-S17 – has a 1.3GHz Intel Celeron 743 single core processor. The other model, the UV20-S23, has a relatively faster 1.2GHz Intel Celeron SU2300 processor. Both models are equipped with 11.6 inch displays featuring 1366 x 768 pixels and 1 GB of RAM. While the UV20-S17 has a 160GB hard drive, the UV20-S23 has a 250GB hard drive.
