HP announced Envy 17 3D and Envy 14 Beats Edition notebooks
HP has refreshed its Envy series. The new and improved HP Envy 17 3D comes with an Ultra BrightView display and active shutter glasses. HP claims that the Envy 17 3D is the first 17.3 inch notebook PC to support full 1080p HD 3D and Blu-ray. The multimedia rig also features Beats Audio and HP’s Triple Bass Reflex subwoofer.
The Envy 17 3D has an etched aluminum chassis. You can customize the laptop to fit your needs. It is available with up to 2TB of storage, up to a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, and ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD 5850 graphics cards. It will be priced south of $2000.
The HP Envy 14 Beats Edition starts at $1249. It also features Beats Audio ,which was developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre. This laptop also has an aluminum chassis and sports red and black color scheme. It even has a red, back-lit keyboard. HP says that the Envy 14 Beats Edition will get around 6 and half hours of battery life with the standard battery.
