HP has released a promotional video of its upcoming tablet PC playing Flash videos from websites such as Hulu. Adobe, which is quite unhappy with Apple for not including Flash support on iPad, has also released a 5 minutes video showing the device playing Flash and Adobe AIR

The Apple iPad will start shipping on April 3. It was unveiled a few weeks ago and made all the headlines for a feature it doesn’t support – Adobe Flash. Steve Jobs is unapologetic about it but no Flash on iPad means no access to a whole lot of web content.

HP, we are certain, doesn’t want to commit the same mistake (?). The upcoming HP Slate tablet is powered by an x86 processor. It will run Windows 7 which means that it will be able to run almost all Windows applications. But the Windows OS and the x86 processor will certainly take their toll on the battery life.

No word on final pricing at the moment. But don’t expect it to come cheap.
