HP unveils AMD powered Pavilion DM1a with AMD Neo processor
The HP Pavilion DM1a that launched in Japan today is an 11.6 inch ultraportable laptop with a low power AMD Neo processor. This machine will probably carry a different name when it is released in other countries.
The Pavilion DM1a has a 1.7GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 single core processor and ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics. The 11.6 inch display has 1366 x 768 pixels. Other specifications include 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive spinning at 7200rpm or a 128GB Solid State Disk,
802.11b/g/n WiFi, 3 USB ports, Bluetooth 2.1, VGA and HDMI output and a flash card reader. The laptop comes standard with a 6 cell battery and weighs about 3.4 pounds.
