Stuff.tv has had some hands-on time with a prototype of ICD Gemini and seems pretty impressed with its bright display and the ‘blisteringly fast’ browsing experience it provides. "icd gemini tablet"

ICD Gemini is expected to hit the streets in August. ICD, we are told, is in talks with wireless carriers so that prices can be brought down to iPad parity.

According to the folks at Stuff, Gemini has a ‘lovely, sharp widescreen display’ and the NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset powering the tablet delivers a more snappy experience than you would find on the iPad.

On the flip side, the pre-production unit seemed buggy with very few features actually working. Hopefully these issues will get solved by the time the tablet hits the market.
