The ThinkPad notebooks have always been known for being pricey. But, it seems, Lenovo is hell-bent on changing that reputation. The company is in the process of building a series of affordable ThinkPads that would still retain their rugged reliability.

The new variants of the celebrated T series carry the appendage i. Called T410i, T410si and T510i, these machines are powered by the budget-friendly 2.13GHz Core i3-330M processor. 2GB to 8GB of DDR3 RAM is available. Other features include 2 megapixel webcams and fingerprint sensors. Windows XP pre-installations are available on T410i and T510i if you want to cut prices further down.

Pricing and Availability
No word on prices yet, but the notebooks are expected to be available by the end of this month.
