Lenovo IdeaPad Z360, Z560 and Z565 Officially Announced
Lenovo has officially rolled out the new IdeaPad Z series notebooks. The new line of laptops feature a modern hairline, metallic effect cover panel. All models in the series have chiclet style keyboards similar to the ones found on the IdeaPad S10-3.
The 13.3 inch IdeaPad Z360 and the 15.6 inch IdeaPad Z560 are available with standard voltage Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors and Nvidia GeForce 315M discrete graphics. These models also feature built-in optical drives, optional Blu-ray, high definition (HD) 16:9 format widescreen displays and Dolby Advanced Audio for a stunning audio experience.
With its 15.6 inch display, the IdeaPad Z565 has the same form factor as the IdeaPad Z560. But it differs from its siblings with a glossy black cover and AMD internals. The IdeaPad Z565 will be available with AMD’s newest quad-core Phenom II X4, Phenom II, Turion II, Athlon II and V Series processors and ATI Mobility Radeon discrete graphics. Curiously there is no mention of the IdeaPad Z460 we have been hearing about for a while.
The IdeaPad Z series notebooks are expected to hit the streets in June. The base models start at $649.
