LG X300LG’s recently unveiled X300 is an 11.6 inch ultraportable notebook based on the 2.0GHz Intel Menlow platform with an Intel Atom Z550 processor. The notebook is impressively thin and light: It weighs just 970g and measures 17.6mm in thickness.

The LG X300 has a reflective keyboard and a borderless touchpad. Both of them work pretty well. Up to 2GB of RAM can be installed. Other features include a 1.3mega pixel webcam, built-in 3G modem, Wi-Fi and a solid state drive for storage. The notebook will ship with a spare 2-cell battery. Together the batteries are expected to power the laptop for up to 7 hours.

The LG X300 will come pre-loaded with LG’s Smart Pack software which will synchronize your smartphone and the notebook via Bluetooth. As a result of this you will be able to read and reply to your text messages directly from the notebook.

LG plans to release the notebook worldwide in February. However, there is still no word on pricing.
