The 13 inch MacBook Pro notebooks will continue to have the Core 2 Duo processors, but the 15.4 inch MacBook Pro is now available with your choice of a Core i5 or i7 processors. The 17 inch models have also been refreshed with Core i5 processors. The bigger models will also get NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 330M discrete GPUs with Optimus technology which is twice as fast as the GeForce 320M available on the 13 inch MacBook Pro.

Apple claims that the 13 inch MacBook Pro will get 10 hours of battery life. The 15.4 inch and 17 inch models should get around 8-9 hours, thanks to the NVIDIA Optimus technology that would automatically switch between the discrete and integrated graphics cores.

All notebooks are available with 4GB of RAM and up to 500GB of hard drive storage. And if SSD is your thing you can get a 512GB Solid State Drive for a mere $1,300.

While the 17 inch model comes standard with a 1920 x 1200 pixels display, the 15.4 inch models are available with a 1440 x 900 “glossy” display, a 1680 x 1050 glossy display or an anti-glare high resolution display. More details are available at the Apple Store.
