It has now been confirmed that the Inspiron M301z will be the first Dell laptop to feature AMD’s new dual core Neo processor. The notebook is not yet on Dell’s US website, but it is available at Dell Singapore."dell inspiron m301z"

The Inspiron M301z starts at $999 and for that price you will get a 1.3GHz dual-core Athlon II Neo K325 processor, 2GB of  DDR3 memory, a 320GB, 7200rpm hard disk and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics. The notebook features a 13.3 inch glossy WLED display with 1,366×768 pixels. It ships with a 6-cell battery rated at 44WHr. Dell claims that the battery will power the machine for up to 5 hours.

The top of the line model has a 1.5GHz Neo K625 processor and up to 4GB of RAM.

The notebook is now available for purchase in Singapore. Availability in the other parts of the world is expected soon.
