MSI GT660R gaming laptop hits the US

The MSI GT660R gaming notebook is now available for purchase in the US. The notebook has got high-end hardware and a matching price tag.

The MSI GT660R is equipped with a 16-inch display. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-740QM quad-core processor. Other specifications include GeForce GTX285M graphics with 1GB of dedicated video memory, 6GB of DDR3 RAM, and a pair of hard drives with a combined capacity of 1TB.

The MSI GT660R has a chiclet style keyboard with a dedicated numeric pad. There is also a built-in webcam with 720p video recording capabilities, an ExpressCard slot, VGA and HDMI outputs. The notebook weighs 7.7 pounds with the 9-cell battery. In the US it is going for $1699.99
