Packard Bell has launched its Dot S4 10 inch netbook. This is essentially the same machine as the Acer Aspire One D260 and for good reason. Acer owns the Packard Bell brand name.

That said, the Packard Bell Dot S4 does have a few design tricks up its sleeve to distinguish it from the Acer Aspire One D260. The lid, for instance, features a floral pattern which is kind of interesting. There is also a chiclet-style keyboard.

As for the specs, well, there are no surprises here. The Dot S4 has a 10 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, Windows 7 Starter Edition, up to 250GB of storage, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and 3 or 6-cell battery.
