Sharp DoCoMo LYNX SH-10B Android MID to hit Japan this month
Sharp has announced an Android-powered MID called LYNX SH-10B in partnership with NTT DoCoMo. The DoCoMo LYNX SH-10B is equipped with a 5-inch toushcreen and a full QWERTY keyboard. It sports two cameras – a 5.3 megapixel camera on the outside and the 4.3 megapixel camera on the inside. The device runs Android.
Other features include GPS/A-GPS, a 1-Seg digital TV tuner, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and HSDPA/HSUPA which makes it usable throughout the world.
Users will reportedly get access to the Android Market and NTT DoCoMo’s own download store. The device will ship with 3.4GB of user accessible storage. There is also a microSD card slot for expansion.
The Sharp DoCoMo LYNX SH-10B is due out in Japan on July 23rd. It will be available in either red or white. No word on pricing at the moment.
