Sony VAIO P up for pre-order
The new version of the Sony VAIO P is now up for order for $899 and up. The Sony Vaio P is an 8-inch notebook with a ridiculously high screen resolution. It weighs just 1.3 pounds and measures 0.8 inches in thickness. 
At $899, this machine certainly isn’t affordable,but neither are other laptop models from Sony. So what do you get for the money? The new Sony Vaio P has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 128GB solid state drive, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. The mini-laptop runs Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit.
The laptop also has an optical toupad built into the screen bezel. This feature is meant for navigating the desktop just by holding the display. Another feature is the accelerometer that would let you automatically rotate the display by tilting the device.
The Sony VAIO P is available in colors including black, green, white, orange and pink.
