<p>Online retailer Excaliber PC has started taking pre-orders for the aluminum-bodied Asus Eee PC 1018P, 1016P and 1015PED. According to the product listings, the 1015PED starts at $349 whereas the 1016P and the 1018P are priced at $499 and $429 respectively. <p>The <a href="http://www.excaliberpc.com/597348/asus-eee-pc-1015ped-m-seashell.html">Eee PC 1015PED</a> has a 10.1 inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 Processor with 1GB of DDR3 memory and a 250GB hard drive. Other specifications include WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0. The netbook runs Windows 7 Starter Edition. It will ship with a 6-cell battery which will reportedly power the laptop for up to 10 hours on a single charge. </p>

But this model also has three USB 3.0 ports and a fingerprint scanner. It also ships with a 6-cell battery and Windows 7 Starter. Other specifications include WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0. </p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.excaliberpc.com/597338/asus-eee-pc-1016p-seashell.html">Eee PC 1016P </a>, which is the costliest of the three models has 2GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive and Windows 7 Professional. Apart from these, it has got the same specs as the other two models. </p>
