"msi 3d laptop"According to a DigiTimes report, MSI will show off a 3D laptop this September. The MSI 3D laptop will not feature NVIDIA’s 3D Vision technology; instead, it’ll utilize Dynamic Digital Depth’s (DDD’s) TriDef 3D software for transferring 2D images to 3D. An advantage of using the TriDef software is that it allows users to use cheap polarized glasses instead of the pricey active shutter glasses which are also known to drain the battery.

The notebook will reportedly launch at under a grand. More details are expected to emerge at IFA.

Toshiba claims that its Dynabook TX/98MBL is the first laptop in the world to playback 3D video in Blu-ray format. The notebook is expected to ship in Japan by the end of July."toshiba dynabook TX/98MBL"
The Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL has a 15.6 inch LED backlit 120Hz display with 1366 x 768 pixels. It is powered by a Core i7-740QM processor with GeForce GTS 350m discrete graphics and NVIDIA’s 3D Vision software. Other features include 640GB of storage, up to 4GB of RAM, a Blu-ray drive and harman/kardon stereo speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio. The notebook uses WinDVD BD to play the Blu-ray 3D format.
Pricing
The Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL is expected to list for about ¥250,000 (about $2,700).

The 15.6 inch Asus ROG G53 3D gaming laptop has had its debut at Computex. The laptop will be available with a Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 processor. While the dual-core versions will have up to 8GB of RAM, the quad-core versions will support as many as 16GB of DDR3 memory. Other features include an LED-backlit “HD” display, an optional Blu-ray drive, USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port for transferring 3D signals to 3D HDTV and NVIDIA “Enthusiast” graphics. There is room for a pair of hard drives. An SSD / HDD combo setup is also possible. There is still no word on pricing or availability.
