MSI has just released their latest 3D laptop, the CX620 3D. The MSI CX620 3D is available with an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor. The notebook has a 15.6 inch display. Other specifications include 8GB of DDR3 memory, 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics, HDMI / VGA outputs, a DVD writer, 2 USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard slot, 4-in-1 card reader and a pair of stereo speakers.

The hard drive comes in 320GB / 500GB / 640GB capacities. The MSI CX620 3D laptop runs Windows 7 Home Premium. The laptop also has 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, gigabit Ethernet and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

No word on pricing or availability at the moment.

LG has unveiled a new 3D notebook. The company claims that its Xnote A510 is the world’s first near full HD 3D notebook. The LG A510 has a 15.6 inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The laptop uses polarized 3D glasses to convert 2D content into 3D.

The LG Xnote A510 will be available with a range of CPU options including the following: Core i7 CPU 840QM and 740QM; Core i5 580M, 560M, and 460M; and Core i3 380M and 370M. Other specifications include up to 4GB of RAM, 640GB of storage, NVIDIA GT425M graphics with 1GB of RAM, TruSurround HD sound and an LED fingerprint reader for security.
The notebook will arrive in blue-black and champagne gold colors.

Pricing and availability
The LG A510 will be available in Asia, South America, Middle East, and Africa in October. No word on pricing or availability in the US.

HP has refreshed its Envy series. The new and improved HP Envy 17 3D comes with an Ultra BrightView display and active shutter glasses. HP claims that the Envy 17 3D is the first 17.3 inch notebook PC to support full 1080p HD 3D and Blu-ray. The multimedia rig also features Beats Audio and HP’s Triple Bass Reflex subwoofer.

The Envy 17 3D has an etched aluminum chassis. You can customize the laptop to fit your needs. It is available with up to 2TB of storage, up to a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, and ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD 5850 graphics cards. It will be priced south of $2000.

The HP Envy 14 Beats Edition starts at $1249. It also features Beats Audio ,which was developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre. This laptop also has an aluminum chassis and sports red and black color scheme. It even has a red, back-lit keyboard. HP says that the Envy 14 Beats Edition will get around 6 and half hours of battery life with the standard battery.

According to a DigiTimes report, MSI will show off a 3D laptop this September. The MSI 3D laptop will not feature NVIDIA’s 3D Vision technology; instead, it’ll utilize Dynamic Digital Depth’s (DDD’s) TriDef 3D software for transferring 2D images to 3D. An advantage of using the TriDef software is that it allows users to use cheap polarized glasses instead of the pricey active shutter glasses which are also known to drain the battery.

The notebook will reportedly launch at under a grand. More details are expected to emerge at IFA.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d, the company’s first 3D laptop, is now up for order on Lenovo’s online store for a whooping $1,499.

The IdeaPad Y560d is equipped with a 1.6GHz Intel Core i7-720QM processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB, 5400 rpm hard drive and a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 discrete graphics. It has a 15.6 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Other specifications include a dual layer DVD writer, 6-cell battery, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and WiFi.
