The Gateway ID49 and ID59 laptops have become official. The 14 inch ID49 and the 15.6 ID59 will hit the US retailers in the coming weeks for less than $800. The notebooks are available with Core i3 and i5 processors and NVIDIA graphics supporting the Optimus technology.

Gateway has also announced a 10.1 inch netbook called LT23. It has an Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. Prices start at just $329.
