It looks like Lenovo is getting ready to launch a 12.5 inch ultraportable laptop with an Intel Core i Series processor. Although there is no official confirmation, the folks at ThinkPads.com came across a listing for a certain laptop called the Lenovo IdeaPad U260. The listing is no longer there, but you can still find a list of user manuals in several languages.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U260 will reportedly have an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive. It will be ultra thin measuring in at just 0.71 inches. The laptop also has 2 USB ports, VGA and HDMI output ports, Bluetooth, a single RAM slot and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. No official word on pricing or launch date.

Lenovo is the latest to jump on to the 3D laptop bandwagon. The company has just confirmed the existence of its 15.6 inch IdeaPad Y560d 3D laptop.

Instead of NVIDIA’s much acclaimed 3D vision it uses TriDef’s 3d technology.This is the same technology used by the Acer Aspire 5738DG. The TriDef’s 3D technology uses a specially coated screen, software and polarizing glasses to convert 2D content to 3D. unfortunately, TriDef doesn’t support 3D Blu-ray content.

The IdeaPad Y560d will be available with processors ranging between Intel Core i3 and Core i7, an ATI Radeon HD5720 GPU, and up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM. The notebook will reportedly also feature Lenovo’s RapidDrive technology which combines a traditional hard drive and an SSD for faster boot times.

Pricing and availability
The Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d will not be available until the end of this month. It will have a starting price of $1,200.

Lenovo has started taking orders for its IdeaPad U160 thin and light laptop. The IdeaPad U160 is powered by a low power Intel Core i-series processor. Lenovo had previously said that they would sell the laptop for $699 and up, but the cheapest model available at the moment costs $1049. Prices are expected to drop when more configuration options become available.

For now, let’s see what you get for the money. The $1049 configuration will get you an 11.6 inch glossy display with 1366 x 768 pixels, a 1.06GHz Intel Core i5-520UM processor, a 320GB hard drive, 4GB of DDR3 memory, WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.1. The notebook comes standard with a 6-cell battery. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit.

For $1149 you will get a faster 1.2GHz Core i7-640UM processor, a spacious 500GB hard drive and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating. Meanwhile, there is no official word on that rumored IdeaPad U165 with an AMD processor.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 has showed up at Lenovo’s online store. The Z560 is part of the Lenovo IdeaPad Z series. It sports a 15.6 inch display and is available with your choice of a Core i3 or i5 processor, up to 4GB of RAM and up to 500GB of hard disk space.

The base model with a Core i3-350M 2.26GHz processor has a $739 price tag. For that price you also get 3GB of DDR3 memory, Intel HD graphics, a 320GB 5,400rpm HDD, DVD burner and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. An extra $10 will fetch you a 500GB HDD. Core i5 configurations start at $899. Models with NVIDIA GeForce 310M 512MB discrete graphics are also available.

The 15.6 inch LED-backlit display has 1366 x 768 pixels. All models ships with a 6-cell battery.

The recently unveiled Lenovo IdeaPad U160 is an 11.6 inch ultraportable notebook measuring less than an inch in thickness.

At $699, the IdeaPad U160 is pricier than the IdeaPad U150. On the plus side it has got better hardware. The notebook is available with your choice of an Intel Celeron, Pentium, Core i3, i5 or i7 processors. As for the operating system, the U160 is available with Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic and Home Premium editions.

Other features include up to 4GB of RAM, up to 500GB of hard drive storage, 802.11b/g or 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth (optional), and 3G connectivity (optional).

There are 3USB ports, an eSATA port, VGA, HDMI, 5-in-1 card reader, 1.3 megapixel webcam, headphone and mic jacks. The 11.6 inch display has 1366 x 768 pixels.

Both 3-cell and 6-cell battery options are available. Lenovo claims that the 6-cell battery will power the laptop for up to 7 hours.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U160 is expected to be available in June. Prices start at $699
