<p>Samsung has revealed its netbook and notebook lineup for summer 2010. These laptops are mostly aimed at back-to school students.<br />
The Samsung R440 is a 14 inch multi-media laptop. It is available in black. There is also a 15 inch model called Samsung R540 which has a Blu-ray drive, discrete ATI graphics and an HDMI output. Both notebooks have spacious keyboards and multi-gesture touchpads. The Samsung R440-11 is available with an Intel Core i3-330M processor. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system. Other specifications include up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 320GB, 5400rpm hard drive, Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, Super multi-layer DVD optical drive, 0.3 megapixel web camera, stereo speakers, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Ethernet LAN, 3 USB 2.0 ports. The 14 inch display has 1366 x 768 pixels. </p>
<p>The Samsung R440-11 is expected to get around 4 hours of battery life. It weighs 4.85 lbs. </p>
<p><strong>Samsung R540-11</strong><br />
The Samsung R540-11 is available with a Core i5-450M processor, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB,5400rpm hard drive, ATI Mobility Radeon HD545v discrete graphics and Blu-ray optical drive. It sports a 15.6 inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. </p>

<p><strong>Samsung R530-11</strong><br />
iI related news, Samsung has upgraded the R530. The new model called R530-11 has a 2.13GHz Core i3 processor, NVIDIA GeForce 310M discrete graphics with 512MB of video memory, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium.</p>
<p>The Samsung R530-11 will start shipping in July. Prices start at $799.</p>
