The Acer Timeline X series notebooks have finally made their debut in the US. The Timeline X series is available with Intel’s Core i3 and i5 processors. Prices start at $599.99.

Four models are currently available. The smallest among them is the 11.6 inch Acer Aspire Timeline 1830T. It weighs 3.09 pounds and features a full sized keyboard. The base model with a Core i3 processor, 3GB of DDR3 RAM and a 320GB hard drive will set you back $599.99. A $699.99 version with a Core i5 ULV CPU, 4GB of DDR3 memory and 500GB HDD is also available.

The 15.6 inch Aspire Timeline 5820T and the 14 inch Aspire Timeline 4820T both have 4GB of RAM, up to 500GB of storage and built-in optical drives. Prices start at $749.99. There is also another model called Aspire 4820TG which features the discrete ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics. The 4820TG with a Core i3 processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 320GB hard drive costs $799.99. It costs $899.99 with a Core i5 processor, 4GB of memory and a 500GB drive.

The 13.3 inch Aspire 3820T has 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 320GB or 500GB hard drive. It is available with Intel’s Core i3 and i5 processors. Prices start at $729.99.

The Acer TimelineX 1830T, 3820T, 4820T and 5820T have been priced. The 11.6-inch Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T will hit the European market in early June for a starting price of €549 ($731). The 13.3 inch 3820T will start at €699 ($931). The 14 inch 4820T and the 15.6-inch 5820T both start at €749 ($997).

According to Acer’s latest press release the Aspire TimelineX 1830T will be available with a choice of Core i3 or Core i5-520UM processors. Acer had previously said that this model would have Centrino or Core 2 Solo processors. The other models will be available with a choice of Core i3, i5 or i7 processors.

specific release dates for the 3820T, 4820T and 5820T are not available at the moment, but they are expected to arrive in Europe at around the same time as the 1830T.

Acer has officially unveiled its 13.3 inch TimelineX 3820T, 14 inch TimelineX 4820T and 15.6 inch TimelineX 5820T notebooks. The notebooks are available with your choice of a Core i3, Core i5 or Corei7 processor. Other specifications include up to 8GB of RAM and up to 640GB of storage. The available connectivity options are WiFi b/g/n, optional 3G and optional Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. All the three notebooks are available with ATI Mobility Radeon discrete GPUs including the HD 5470 and HD 5650.

The notebooks are expected to hit the streets by the end of this month. No word on pricing.

The standard 6-cell battery is expected to provide around 8 hours of runtime. Need more uptime? Opt for the 9-cell battery pack and you should be able to run for around 12 hours.

Aspire TimelineX 4820T specs

• Display: 14 inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels
• Processor: Core i3, i5 and i7
• Graphics: Integrated Intel GMA HD or Radeon HD5650/HD5470 discrete GPU
• Memory: 4GB of DDR3 RAM (Expandable to 8GB)
• Storage: 640GB hard drive

The Aspire 4820T weighs around 4.85 pounds. It will ship with a 6-cell battery and should get around 8 hours of runtime.

Acer Aspire TimelineX 3820T specs

• Display: 13.3 inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels
• Processor: Core i3/i5/i7
• Graphics: integrated GMA HD or Radeon HD5650 1GB/HD5470 512MB discrete GPU
• Memory: up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM (Expandable to 8GB)

The TimelineX 3820T weighs 3.97lbs. It will ship with a 6-cell battery which is expected to power the laptop for up to 8 hours.

Acer has officially unveiled its TimelineX 1830T thin and light laptop. This notebook was rumored to have a Core i5 processor, but the official product says that it is powered by a Core 2 Solo processor. If the processor is indeed a Core 2 Solo, there is nothing much to differentiate this machine from the Aspire 1410/1810 notebooks currently available on the market.

The Acer TimelineX 1830T weighs 3.1 pounds and measures 1.1 inch in thickness. It is available in black, brown, red or silver. No word on pricing or availability at the moment.
