Despite being simply called a Reader, the Cruz Reader offers the full functionality of a tablet. It comes pre-loaded with a web browser, video games, media player and other applications. It also features an accelerometer, a USB port, an SD card slot and WiFi 802.11b/g. The tablet will reportedly get around 10 hours of battery life. In the US it will ship with the Kobo Android app pre-loaded, for access to over 2 million eBooks.

The Cruz StoryPad is the cheapest of the bunch. It features a drop resistant case and comes pre-loaded with a media player and a number of audio books.

The $299 Cruz Tablet is due out in September. It will have WiFi 802.11n, 4GB of built-in storage, an 8GB SD card and a 7 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
